Cynophobia is the fear of dogs. Fearing dogs to some degree is normal, but sufferers of this phobia have an extreme and irrational fear for dogs. Hydrophobia is the opposite name for fear of water or you’ll be able to say fear of swimming even. When speaking about worry of water it does not mean a bucket of water.
