Cenophobia or Centophobia- Fear of new things or ideas

Cenophobia or Centophobia is the fear of newness or novelty. This phobia can be a reaction to changes in society, special relationship or even financial conditions.

At times life gets tough and changes in the form of newness or novelty can be very demanding and some of the people may or will react to this change by shutting down and turning away from newness thus a phobia may begin to develop.

At some point Cenophobia or Centophobia will set in, and one will refuse to settle in to changes that they don’t like thus will negatively affect life since flexibility is frequently one of the foundation of a successful career or relationship. Being way too uncomfortable in facing changes will obstruct ones person progress.

Sometimes the symptoms which the cenophobic person experience can be overwhelming. Examples of those are nausea, headache, dizziness, and terrible mental anguish.

When we fear change, we become stagnant. People with Cenophobia may use various therapies and treatments in managing their phobia. Panic treatment can offer exceptional or outstanding result. Embracing the fears and getting to the core of the problem can be liberating therefore better life is experienced.
